Gas scrubber bypass
The client requested replacement in kind of a gas scrubber in an instrument fuel gas system. Rhino inspected the plant and challenged the need to replace the component. We put forward a cost-saving idea of bypassing the gas scrubber altogether, saving the client hundreds of thousands of dollars. Needless to say the client was very happy and Rhino received recognition from senior management.
Minor Technical Changes /
MOCs
Rhino successfully cleared a backlog of 200 unfinished MOCs (Management of Change) for a major client. All at various stages of completion, some were up to 6 years old. Working within the client's own system, Rhino quickly worked through them, making them fully compliant by:
- Gathering site information
- Performing risk assessments
- Providing technical reviews across all disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process, risk, instrumentation & civil)
- Updating documents (P&IDs, datasheets etc)
We continue to excel at MOCs, including temporary repairs and minor technical changes.
